'John Batman's bride'
This fictional account of the relationship between Eliza Callaghan and John Batman is an excellent example of mythmaking around Melbourne's pioneers, particularly Batman. As Batman and his family were plagued by misfortune and drama during their time in Port Phillip, it's not surprising writers took creative liberties when revisiting their lives.
