The 'flood', Elizabeth Street

Elizabeth Street, Melbourne, flooding at 6pm, 8 December 1862. Elizabeth St was actually the site of a small creek flowing in to the Yarra at the time of Melbourne's founding, and has flooded several times in the intervening 175 years.
