The lucky return
A successful digger, seated at a table with his two children, hands a bag of gold to an elderly man, who is probably his father-in-law. His wife gestures in amazement at the sight. A large dog, exhausted from the effort of looking after his master, lies beside a bed roll, hat and stick.
