Selector on the Snowy River
This scene shows an unidentified selector who has just recently taken possession of his land along the Snowy River. A note on the reverse of the photograph proclaims "The soil on the Snowy River is 10ft deep, of rich chocolate loam. It grows potatoes 33 inches long, - parships 7 feet long, and maize 120 bushels to the acre."
