Our boys at the front

Members of the Australian Field Ambulance take shelter in "Funk Holes".  In the slang of the time, to 'funk' meant to hide or sneak away in fear: these men might have been sheltering from bombs or bad weather, but no-one could accuse them of 'funking'.
