Crowd at Shrine of Remembrance
The Shrine of Remembrance, built to commemorate the First World War, rises like an island out of this sea of men, women and children. Some appear to be watching a flyover of aircraft. Although the crowd is vast, no ceremony is underway, and each person seems enclosed in their own serious thoughts.
