Mourning brooch made from the hair of Miss Anne Drysdale
Mourning brooch of finely woven hair and gold. A central lyre decoration flanked by two branches of single florals and foliage. After Miss Drysdale's death, Miss Newcomb had this brooch made from strands of their hair woven together. It was made for a close friend, Mrs Thomson, as a remembrance.
