Double barrel pistol
This pistol was used by Peter Lalor, one of the Eureka rebels. For its time, it was an old-fashioned weapon, which had to be loaded down the barrel with loose gunpowder and a round bullet. Once fired, it would take some time to reload. Lalor was wounded in the fighting, and lost an arm. But he went on to be a prominent man in the colony, and was elected to Parliament.
