Drawing of tropical ulcer

Major Arthur Moon worked on many tropical ulcers but had no medical reference texts.  Amongst his fellow prisoners were a number of talented artists who helped him by documenting the ulcers and so building up a visual reference library.  All forms of image-making were forbidden within the camps, and drawings like this had to be made in secret.
